Holiday Policy: Our return policy is same as below, but extended during Holiday Season, i.e. if your purchase is after November 1, your return window is extended to January 15, or 30 days whichever is greater. Call early, allowing enough time for us to obtain RA#, send a UPS return label via email, and receive shipment prior to cut off date.
Standard Return Policy: Unless otherwise stated on the item page, returns are accepted on unused, products with tags on, returned to our warehouse within 30 Days of purchase, with approved RA# (strict). Contact Us for Return Authorization no. (RA#), which will be embedded in your free return label provided by LeatherGiftItems.com, via email. Please contact us in the third week of return window, to allow time for us to obtain an RA#, email a label, and shipping time, for receipt within 30 days.
Refunds: Refunds are provided on unused, merchandise (with tags on) usually within one week after the product arrives in the warehouse. A restock fee of 12% is withheld on one-item orders greater than $100; 15% for multiple item orders or orders with heavy items like golf bags or luggage that weigh 10 lbs. or greater. On heavy items, any initial free shipping investment over $10 will be withheld on returns.
On orders less than $100, the restock fee is $8 per item, and original shipping is withheld. Expedited shipping cost is not reimbursed. A free return label is furnished in either case (local inland orders only) on orders with approved RA#.
Refund Exceptions: Refunds are not applicable to monogrammed/personalized products, or products returned without an approved RA#. (Returns sent without RA# will be returned to buyer; at buyer expense, buyer will need to call and provide return shipping charges). Return Authorizations are easily obtained by requesting same in the third week of ownership, leaving enough time to get the item back to the warehouse within 30 day window.
Exchanges: Exchanges are treated as a new sale.
Warranty: After 30 days, customer Manufacturer Warranty will be invoked. Warranty information is supplied on the new tags of your merchandise. You may read about our manufacturers here: Manufacturer Descriptions.
Final Sale: If an item description states Final Sale this policy is strictly followed.

Shipping Policies, Delivery and Guidelines
Shipping: We offer FREE SHIPPING on product orders greater than $100 to inland U.S. Customers! This is automatic in checkout.
Where:We ship to United States and Canada.
When: If you place your order by Noon Central Time, we usually ship same day or next day. Our free shipping is always UPS Ground and this averages 3 to 4 days, sometimes less.
Duties: Canadian customers and outlying U.S. customers are responsible for any duties incurred by UPS or USPS, in addition to shipping expense taken on transaction. It is our experience, that USPS International incurs less duties than UPS.
Delivery: UPS/FedEx are responsible for a timely delivery once the package is picked up from our warehouse. We are not responsible for any delays caused by carrier. We reserve the right to request Signature Required, based on our knowledge of the ship-to address, especially residential areas. The customer can request signature required via note line in checkout. Also, we do not guarantee that we will request Carrier to leave at door certain items. Certain items are high in value and leave much risk for theft. We do not cover theft. It is left up to the customer to check email in-box and bulk mail folder to locate our ship confirmation, containing tracking information, to monitor date of delivery, and ensure delivery/acceptance/sign-off of product. Shipping is not reimbursable in a no delivery or refusal situation; shipping expense, in general, is non-refundable.
Expedite: Customers may expedite their orders in checkout, and we will pay $10 toward any expedite method you choose on orders greater than $100, while Ground is complimentary. Simply use our expedite coupon 10expship in checkout.
Canadian Shipping Exception: These lines do not ship outside the U.S.: Jack Georges, Korchmar, Olivia Riegel, or Osgoode Marley. We will ship via your method chosen, on a first come, first serve basis. While we strive to ship all expedited orders same day, it may not be possible during busy season or if order is placed with monogram, or late in the day.
APO: APO Customers receive free shipping (USPS) if the APO address is in the United Sates. Be sure to let us know in a note line in checkout that the ship to address is PO. When confirmed, we will ship free. If you are charged in checkout, we will credit back shipping.
Busy Season Shipping Guidelines: We recommend expedited methods near the Holidays if you need a guaranteed arrival date. Ground gets slower as the Holidays approach. UPS expedited methods are guaranteed from the date of pickup (with exception of inclement weather); however we do not guarantee to ship same day, however, we watch closely and make every effort to push the order considering the investment of the buyer; keeping in mind orders are on first come, first serve basis. To judge the arrival date, begin counting from the day after shipping; you will be notified by email as to the tracking number upon shipment.
How: Click on the Add to Cart Button, then select size, color or monogram options. The Checkout link or View Cart will allow you to see what is in the cart. You may use the shipping estimator by entering your zip code.

Taxes: We collect Texas Sales Tax from Texas ship to addresses, 8.25% on product only.
Payment Method: Visa, Mastercard, Discover,Amex, PayPal, Google Checkout (Google Checkout is for U.S. only, and does not recognize our free shipping, although, we will credit back any shipping charges, if item is greater than $100).
Order Tracking and Communications:
Receipt: You will receive two receipts automatically, one from the credit card processing company, and an additional acknowledgement from LeatherGiftItems.com.
Order Tracking: All orders are acknowledged via email, usually by end of date of order; additionally a tracking notification will follow, when the order ships, which includes the UPS or FEDEX tracking number, via email.
Communications: We suggest you leave a phone number in checkout where you can be reached during the daytime, should we need to speak with you about your order. Also, kindly, leave your correct email address, as this is where your receipts will be directed, as welll as any important information about your order. If you do not receive our communications, please check your bulk mail folder. Kindly use the Contact Us Form to request information or make inquiries.
Monograms: We provide monograms on the following lines: Alberto Bellucci, ClaireChase, Jack Georges, Piel Leather, Royce Leather, and Tony Perotti. The term monogram and de-boss are used on this site synonymously, to describe up to 3 initial letters in caps (indention of the leather), in a noticeable, yet understated font and size. These letters are entered with your checkout options, i.e. color, size, monogram, etc. We provide Free Monograms when the item is over $125 and on select, applicable manufacturers, as indicated in the item ad.
Location: Due to the fact that we sell designer lines, the designer stamp is a consideration. The factory will always place the monogram in the most classic location, usually centered toward the upper middle of a bag, above the key/lock, lower right hand corner, or on the flapover or latch flap.
Refund: Monogrammed items are not refundable. Although, if we make a mistake, we will send a return label for the item, and replace it with the corrected monogram.
Privacy: This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. We provide a secure environment for our customer information during and after checkout. We value our customers and their privacy. All personal information is used to ensure efficient processing of your order. This information is used by our staff for contacting and identifying customers and their needs. We collect IP address information to prevent fraud. We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any personally identifiable information to any third party, unless we are legally required to do so or you authorize us to do so. We will not include you in email campaign, unless you sign up for our opt-in / opt-out Newsletter.
Security: We provide a secure checkout environment. All screens where your private information is entered will reflect https in the browser URL, which is your indication that you are in a secure environment. Additionally, we do not store your credit card information on our servers, the information is kept with our credit card processing company. Our site is regularly scanned and inspected for any security issues, so you need not worry about your information.
